Funo Designs

Funo Designs is a certified proudly South African and black woman owned company based in the outskirts of Thohoyandou with its headquarters at a village called Tshivhulani. Our long-term plan is the opening of more branches in and around Limpopo and expanding in other provinces. Funo Designs (PTY) Ltd specialises in creatively designing unique and innovative modern traditional sneaker/takkie designs for women from all cultural backgrounds who love cultural fashion. This was inspired by the growing entrenchment of traditional fashion by middle-class women in both rural and urban areas including big cities. The company currently runs its operations with three staff members operating from a garage producing a maximum of two pairs of traditionally designed sneakers/takkies per day. With the growing demand for our unique product, there is a need for us to expand our operations so that we can increase our capacity and meet the market demands - in particular using other distribution platforms like online marketing as we enter into the 4IR.
